Town Manager: Jutta Beyer

The Town Manager is appointed by the Board of Selectmen and is the Chief Administrative Official of the Town, responsible for the on-going day to day activities of the Town. He/She attends all meetings of the Board of Selectmen and keeps the residents informed as to the financial condition of the Town. The Town Manager has the exclusive authority on personnel matters. He/She also serves as the purchasing agent for all departments, except the school, which is a separate entity. Finally, the Town Manager performs such other duties as may be prescribed by the Maine Revised Statutes, Charter, Ordinance, or as required by the Board of Selectmen.
