Fire Permits

Fire permits may be requested online 24/7 at MaineBurnPermit.com

Online permits cost $7.00 and can be paid for using a visa or Mastercard.

Although permits can be purchased 24 hours a day, the default setting for allowable burn times is after 5:00pm and before 9:00am on Class 1 and 2 days.

The exception to the default "after 5pm" restriction is when there is a steady rain or the ground is completely covered in snow.

Permits may also be requested, at no charge, from the Town Fire Warden or the Deputy Wardens.
